In Bloom - The Inaugural SEED Fest!

Release Date 19.05.2026

BERLIN, May 12, 2026. If you build it, they will come. Well, we’ve been building SEED and the world of Avesta for many years now. Getting to show it all off last week at Klang House, in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg, was an absolute blast! In Bloom, the inaugural annual festival of all things SEED, landed with a bang as part of the opening day of A MAZE, Berlin’s preeminent indy game fest.

We’ve got a growing community and a team super hard at work. So, last week, we decided to have the two meet with our devs sitting with players as they got to play and experience SEED for an entire afternoon. Throw in a delicious BBQ, some drinks, a secret lore presentation, some merch and you got a pretty amazing festival atmosphere.

The morning started with CEO Mundi Vondi, aided on stage by some of our amazing devs (Evans, Ivan, Marijn, Rainer and David P.) giving a Keynote speech to press and close friends and family. This was, as Melissa quipped, our Steve Jobs homage. And to be honest, after so many years in R&D, the presentation really leaned into the historical timeline of what it has taken to get SEED to where it is today. Covering everything from the initial germ of the vision, to in-depth walk-throughs of how we utilise AI, backend scale and game design systems, the hour-long talk felt momentous.

For In Bloom, we also invited three of our Player Advocates to represent our community, who are after all a pillar in the dev team! Monkey_Elite, KingPeky and Staticsprite, all made the journey and joined the public crowd as we threw open the doors to Klang Cafe. Dozens of portals onto Planet Avesta (laptops) recreated Dezima and people got down to experiencing SEED first hand.

The BBQ was fired up. A beer or two was opened. Craic was had. At a certain moment a presentation started in the main room by John Holten, who gave a super secret peek into the layers of backstory and lore that underpin SEED.

The teams got great feedback that immediately went to the rest of their teammates, feeding back into the development as we put the last touches before our looming launch. We’re stoked for next year already…

We loved being part of A MAZE, and many of us enjoyed checking out the main event over the weekend. Indeed, our very own Art Director Shuruq Tramontini took part in Sybil's panel 'A Third Way to Game', along with Alex Declino, Beth von Undall, Elliott Burns, Rico Norwood. See you next year! Meanwhile, sign up already for the closed beta!
